Crashing to Earth

There was so much chaos going through my mind. I had no idea what happened or what was happening. I was severely beaten as I lay in my space ship. I didn't know where I was headed. I just punched the buttons in my panic. I didn't know how long I was a sleep, but I was awaken as my ship started shaking. I looked out the window and saw I was headed for a planet. What planet it is I had no idea. My ship was headed towards the planet at super speed and I had no way of slowing it down. Before I knew it I had crashed to the ground and lost consciousness.

I watch as a meteor streaks across the sky. It crashes about a mile away. Amazing! I run to investigate.

I slowly open my eyes. I try to move but pain shoots through my body so I just lay still. I look to my side and see the button to open the door. With all my strength I pushed the button and the door opened. After that I collapse once again.

I run up to where the meteor crashed. Except it isn't a meteor. It's a... a SHIP?! I'm pulled away from my shock as a door opens. A girl falls out. I run up. "Are you OK?" Then I notice that she's not exactly human.

"Earth?" I couldn't remember where Earth was. I try to stand up only to fall. "Damn."

I help her up, holding her up with my shoulder. "Are you going to be OK? We could go to a hospital."

"Yes, I'll be ok. I don't need no hospital. I just need to fix my ship and then I'll be off."

I look at her ship. "Um, I'm no expert, I mean, we've only made it to our own moon, but I don't know how easy that'll be to fix. That thing looks like it's been through the wringer more than once."

I look at my ship and see it's in very bad shape. "Well, I will just have to try and repair it. Besides I have no where else to go."

"Invade? No, I don't think I am." I shrugged my shoulders.

"In that case, you can hide at my house until you heal and repair your ship." I'm not sure why I'm offering this to her, but something tells me I should.
